NYLON MAGAZINE / NYLON GUYS MAGAZINE

I was the web developer / producer at NYLON / NYLON GUYS for a year (August 2011-September 2012). I built many microsites, designed and developed newsletters, landing pages, made graphics for the site, translated print pages into digital web pages and gave NYLON Guys a makeover and built many relationships with advertisers on the site.

I monitored their eCommerce shop and managed the building of shop.nylonmag.com. I worked on it from ideation to completion. Researching the best eCommerce solutions for NYLON, who to carry in the shop, how it should look and feel to represent the aesthetic of the magazine and digital platform, participated in meeting with the web editors, marketing team and editor in chief. I was responsible for all aspects of the project as well as building the actual platform.

I served as the project manager on the rebuild of NYLONGUYSMAG.COM. I worked closely with the in-house graphic designer to wireframe and build the template for the tumblr. I pitched for the move from Moveable Type to tumblr to increase traffic which was successful. I also aided in the actual development of the website.
